Team Rocket47's Bestest Fanfic
Chapter 2: Enter The Jads
A long time later. . .
The sun was shining on a brisk morning in Cerulean city. The
pidgeys were still asleep in the trees. The river that ran next to
the city flowed peacefully. Nothing disturbed the peace.
Except for the blond ten year old girl running out of the gym
screaming that she had won. A pichu followed her around the
streets questioning his trainers sanity. After a short while
someone threw a boot at her from the window so she shut up.
But she was really proud because she and her pichu had beaten
Misty's pokemon on their first try and she was the one trainer in
Cerulean that had.
The girl decided to head back to her house and brag to her older
brother who didn't beat the gym on his first try. He only had a
pidgey for his first pokemon while the girl had a pichu. When
she got home she was not greeted in the way she expected.
"Jads your soaking wet!" Jads' mom complained.
Jads looked down to her soaking wet cloths then turned a slight
shade of red. "It wasn't my fault I fell in the pool!" Jads said in
defense.
Her mom sighed and brought her a towel. "Why can't you stay
at home like other little girls?" Her mom complained again.
"Because I want to be a great pokemon trainer! Mom I've been
waiting ten years to get a pokemon of my own and leave this
boring old town to go see the world!" Jads replied, walking into
the other room to change cloths. "By the way mom," Jads
mentioned, "Where's James?"
"He had to go back to his job while you were at the gym. He
wished you luck." Her mom told her.
Back in her room while changing out of wet clothing, Jads
muttered a lot. "He's never home when I got something to brag
about." She mumbled. "Always out at that stupid job he never
tells anyone about. At least I'm a better pokemon trainer then
him." Jads snickered.
Back in dry cloths, she grabbed her backpack and left her room.
After a few kisses and advise from her mom, she got out the
door and left for Bill the pokemaniacs place. Most trainers from
Cerulean went to his house before anything else. She would then
head down to Vermilion city and head anywhere from there.
Pichu sat on her shoulder as they walked along the bridge. Jads
yawned then realized that it was still pretty early in the morning.
She hadn't had any breakfast ether. So she and pichu sat down
on the bridge and had a few waffles she had packed.
As the two sat and ate, Jads thought of what her mom had told
her. There was the usual change your underwear and watch out
for team rocket thing. She also said not to eat junk food every
day which was her original plan. now if she would still do it
after her moms warning was a tough question. She'd think about
it next time she was hungry.
In her boredom she talked to her pichu which really didn't help
because it could only say it's name like any other pokemon. In
time she'd learn what it said but now when she had only gotten
it two days ago she didn't have a clue what he said.
In all good stories there's always a strange plot twist and here's
mine. Jads walked along the bridge with Pichu on her shoulder.
She could hear footsteps behind her but she just suspected it was
another pokemon trainer and ignored them. At the end of the
bridge she sat down on a ledge to rest. It was a really long
bridge.
There was a rustle in the bushes behind the two and by instinct
Pichu thunder shocked whatever was behind them. Who
happened to be a dude who fell out of the bushes, charred as a
hack.
"What in the hell did you do that for?" shouted the dude.
Jads looked to him and more calmly then anyone who just saw a
charred dude fall out of the bushes she said, "Pichu shocked you
on it's own. I didn't do a thing."
"Well you shouldn't let a pokemon run free to shock people who
want to kidnap you." said the kid.
Surprised by the fact that she was gonna be kidnaped, Jads stood
up and said, "Your not gonna kidnap me without a pokemon
battle first kid!"
The dude accepted the battle and threw out a Drowzee. Only
having one pokemon Jads threw out Pichu. Little did Jads know
that the dude was in fact from team rocket and had a few tricks
up his sleeve.
"Drowzee hypnosis attack!" Ordered the dude with his drowzee
obeying quickly. But instead of using hypnosis on Pichu like it
was supposed to, Drowzee used it on Jads who fell down asleep.
The dude patted his drowzee on the head then returned it, tied
up Jads and put Pichu in a glass box. He grabbed the end of the
rope and began to drag a sleeping Jads down a hidden dirt road.
Jads awoke to find herself tied to a chair in a dark room that was
lit by a computer screen. Her kidnapper sat in front of the screen
though not as charred. She noticed that he had bright but hard
green eyes and brown hair. He was wearing a normal blue shirt
and some khaki jeans. He clicked a button, yawned, and turned
in his revolving chair and looked at Jads.
"So your awake now." He said, "My names Ira by the way. Sorry
for kidnaping you but the boss ordered me to find the best
trainer in Cerulean city and that happened to be you."
Jads blinked twice then screamed, "WHAT DO YOU WANT
FROM ME!!! LET ME OUT OF HERE RIGHT NOW!!! I
WANNA GO HOME!!! I'M GONNA KICK YOUR ASS
UNLESS YOU LET ME GO RIGHT NOW!!!"
Ira sighed and said, "Sorry Jads I can't really do that now. You
know too much."
"What do you mean I know too much and how in the hell do you
know my name Ira?" Jads said after slightly calming down.
"First of all you've been kidnaped by Team Rocket and since
you know my name you know too much. Second of all I've been
following you all morning and I heard your mom mention your
name." Ira said while glancing back to the computer screen.
"How did you get in my house?" Jads shouted after non calming
down.
Ira looked to his yelling prisoner and explained, "Quit yelling
you'll wake everyone up. And I wasn't in your house I was just
outside the window."
"What time is it anyway?" Jads asked with a good question for
the first time that night.
"About 2 o'clock in the morning" Ira answered while yawning.
"It was like noon when I first met you. What happened?" Jads
said questioningly.
Ira yawned and stretched before replying, "I had to drag you for
twelve hours strait and my back is killing me."
Jads took in all the information she had learned and then
recalled the moment, suddenly realizing what she had forgot.
"Where's my Pichu!?" she said with alarm.
Ira pointed to a glass box on the desk where pichu was sleeping
quietly. "Sorry I had to keep him in the box," Ira said sadly, "But
he would have shocked me to death and I know pichus and
pikachus don't like to be kept in pokeballs."
"You're a really good pokemon trainer." Jads said beginning to
like the kid who managed to kidnap her.
Ira leaned back in his chair and for a minute looked like he was
thinking back a to a time long ago. Then he said, "The best in
Celadon city." After a few more thoughts he mentioned, "I
know your brother."
"How do you know James?" Jads asked curiously.
Ira smiled and said, "He's a member of a rival team that calls
themselves Team Rocket12. There pretty kool if you ask me but
the boss hates them."
Jads smiled and said, "Team Rocket got any other rivals?"
"A few more but the one's that tick him off the most are Team
Smak." Ira smiled at the thought of the boss ticked off.
"I take it that you don't really like the boss person very much."
Jads said catching on to this whole story.
Ira sighed and said, "Not one bit."
"Then why can't you leave Team Rocket?" Jads asked.
A depressed look came over Ira's face. "Me and you now that
you've been kidnaped can't leave Team Rocket because you'll
get killed if you do."
"Damn that's a pretty bad deal." Jads said looking depressed
also. "So now that I've been kidnaped and dragged for twelve
hours only to find out that I'm stuck as a Team Rocket member
for life, What's next?"
"Well," Ira said looking at the computer screen again,
"According to the E-mail the boss sent back your supposed to be
my partner. Doesn't sound too bad does it?"
"Not by my standards no. But can you untie me now?" Jads said
pleadingly.
"Oh sure. No problem." With that said, Ira untied his new
partner and said, "You should get some sleep were gonna be
sent on an assignment tomorrow." He pointed two a bed in the
corner of the room.
Jads got up and said, "Where you gonna sleep?"
"I'll sleep on the floor it's not a problem" Ira said while walking
to a blanket and pillow on the floor.
Jads looked concerned but got into bed and replied, "If you say
so Ira. Good night." But Ira was already asleep. Jads found that
she was tired too and fell asleep quickly.
