Episode 4: The Definition of a Mad Scientist Good evening everyone. I am the original narrator’s twin brother, who sounds amazingly identical to him. Anyway: The Reikai Tantei is trying to find the Green Goddess of Wisdom, Kiragi Aohiki, and her friend, Mitsukai, in the impossible maze of a super mad scientist who has captured both of them. Meanwhile, Aohiki and Mitsukai have escaped, but are trying to find their own way out through the labyrinth. What is this mad scientist up to anyway?
Koenma banged his fist on his desk numerous times and stared at his TV. "No, no, no, no, no, no!!!! Aohiki! I told that idiot Yusuke to take good care of her! And now she’s going to be captured again!" Koenma sucked on his pacifier. "Koenma-sama, if Kiragi-sama gets captured, the whole worlds’ existence will be at stake, ne?" George asked from behind Koenma. "Yes! My father is going to kill me!" Koenma flopped low in his chair, and started pouting. "But I’m going to kill myself first if Aohiki gets hurt!" George sweat dropped. "You’re very fond of her, aren’t you, Koenma-sama?" Koenma just stared at the TV. "………………."
"Don’t touch Aohiki!!!!!!!" Mitsukai screamed, as she took a defensive position, blocking Aohiki. The large robot towered over Mitsukai. "Request denied!" It said in its metallic voice. It then reached down and grabbed Aohiki. Aohiki struggled. "Let me go!" She held her hand out in front of the robot’s face. Oh no! I forgot that my attacks won’t work on them… "Master says: Ah ha ha ha ha!!!!" Aohiki continued to squirm in the robot’s grip. Suddenly, the hand glowed bright red and started zapping Aohiki. "Yaaaaaaaaaa…!" "Aohiki!" Mitsukai yelled, once again, and jumped onto the robot’s arm, and tried to pull it off. "Damn you!" She then tried pulling at its hand. "Itai… Ahhhhh!!!!" Aohiki was trying to stay conscious. "Nyaaa…" She scrunched her face up in pain, and tried moving her tail. "Damn…" Mitsukai-chan! Can you get the red button on its chest area? Oro? Oh! Yes! She swung off the arm, so she was dangling, and tried to reach the button. "That does not compute." The robot grabbed Mitsukai with its other arm; she was dangling from the robot’s hand now. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhh……!" Mitsukai’s eyes watered as a small popping was heard, then a cracking. She tried to reach the button with her other hand. She closed her eyes and strained a little further. "Now shutting… off…" The robot said slowly as Mitsukai pressed the big red button. The little lights and sounds on the robot turned off, and Aohiki dropped to the ground. Mitsukai landed on the balls of her feet, and sat down, cradling her arm. "Mitsukai-chan!" Aohiki dropped to her knees beside Mitsukai. "Are you okay?" Mitsukai looked up at Aohiki and smiled through slightly teary eyes. "Yeah… It dislocated my elbow…" "Here." Aohiki pressed her hand into Mitsukai’s elbow. "Is that better?" She asked as another pop was heard. "Yeah…" Mitsukai spun her arm around and rubbed the joint. "But it’s still sore." Aohiki smiled. "It will be better soon." She stood up slowly and glanced around. "Do you sense something?" "Oh no…" Mitsukai stood up quickly. "This is bad…" "Yes… Yaaaaaa!" Aohiki yelled as she was grabbed from behind. Mitsukai spun around. "Aohiki-chan!" She didn’t have time to register that there was another robot as it grabbed her by the neck. "Ao…hi…ki…" She struggled to loosen its grip on her wind pipe. "Mitsukai-sama!" Someone screamed from behind the robot, and the next second the arm that was holding Mitsukai was sliced off by Rosewhip. Hiei darted onto the arm holding Aohiki and grabbed her, then cut the arm to pieces. "Goddess…" "Hiei?" "Don’t worry girls! Kuwabara Kazuma is here to save you!" Kuwabara stepped forward triumphantly. "Anou…how…" His eyes bugged out as he saw millions of robots in the hallways. "Oh give me a break!" Yusuke screamed from behind Kuwabara. "This… is a problem…" Botan cowered behind Yusuke. Mitsukai rubbed her neck and got her breath back. "Damn them…" She stood up and glared at the robots. "Get down!" Kurama pulled Mitsukai down behind him. "Myuu! Myuu!" Aoi-chan jumped out of Botan’s arms. "Aoi-chan! Here I am!" Aohiki held out her own arms and the little frog jumped into them. "Goddess!" Hiei pulled Aohiki out of the way as the robots fired lasers at them. "Do you have a death wish?! Stay down!" Hiei stood up and unsheathed his sword. "Hey!" Aohiki yelled from the floor. "Shotta-gun!" Yusuke pointed his fist at the robots and fired his shot-gun. "What the hell?!" The robots were unaffected by the surge of reiki. "You just used all your reiki on robots that aren’t affected!" Kuwabara yelled at Yusuke. "What a waste! There’s only one way to do this! Ya!!" Kuwabara then started punching the robots. One robot swung its large arm and smacked Kuwabara into the wall. "Kuwabara!!!!!" Yusuke screamed. "This is just great! I can’t take on all these freaks!" "Give up yet?" The scientist asked from beside his large robots. "Never!" Mitsukai yelled at him. She held up her hand. "Your robots may not be affected by my powers, but they can be affected by forces of nature! Kaze!! Hear my call!" The hallways suddenly became a wind tunnel of extreme pressure. "Control of the wind…" The robots turned and fired lasers aimed at Mitsukai. "Mitsukai-chan!" Aohiki yelled, as a green bubble formed around Mitsukai. "This shouldn’t block your telekinesis." The lasers, however, dissolved upon impact with the bubble. "Kaze! Blow!" Wind pressure picked up, and the robots started to be knocked over, and crash into each other. "Ready Aoi-chan! Go!" Aoi-chan jumped out of Aohiki’s arms and grew to a very large size. Aohiki hopped on his back and they squashed the rest of the robots. Hiei was standing bellow the giant Aoi-chan. "Kiragi-sama!" Mitsukai lowered her hands and collapsed. "Damn… stupid powers…" She lifted herself into a semi-sitting position. "Way to go, Aohiki-chan." "Mitsukai-sama!" Kurama kneeled down next to Mitsukai and held her up around her shoulders. "Are you okay?" "Yeah… We have to get out of this hallway… There are more robots!" Aohiki looked down the hallway. "Yeah, there’s more coming! There’s too many of them!" She turned Aoi-chan around and so she could lead everyone in the opposite direction. But just then, the robots caught up with them, and shot Aohiki off Aoi-chan. "Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!" Aoi-chan shrunk down to his normal size, and Aohiki fell. "Kiragi-sama!!!" Hiei darted around and caught Aohiki just before she hit the ground. "Kiragi-sama… She’s bleeding…" He held Aohiki close to his own body. They all darted through a door way, and found themselves in a large room that seemed to never end. Kurama had been carrying Mitsukai, against her will, and when he stopped she jumped out of his arms and turned to face the on coming robots. "Aohiki…" She glared at the scientist, who was still hiding in the shadows of the doorway as his robots filed into the room. "You… bastard!!!" She raised her hands and the walls started to shake. "Earth!!" The walls crumbled and the ground started to shake. The robots fell into each other and cracks formed in the floor. Yusuke tripped over a crack because of the shaking. "Hey, watch it!" "Rain! Wind!" Mitsukai screamed, and a storm started blowing inside the broken room, and destroyed the robots. "You!" She glared at the scientist, who seemed not in the least bit disturbed that his robots were being destroyed. "Bastard! Fire!" The scientist caught on fire, suddenly illuminating the shadows of the doorway. "Ah ha ha ha!!" "Why the hell are you laughing, bastard?!" Mitsukai growled. "You think I wouldn’t be prepared?" The fire went out like a candle flame. "Robots! Stop! It’s time for me to unveil my perfect, evil, diabolical plan!" All the robots stopped and stood against the wall. "What the hell…?" Mitsukai whispered. "My name is Kagakusha. I am a genius bent on world domination. But I found that technology was not enough by itself. I needed something… magical. I happened to come across this beauty, Aohiki, in my research. She was the power I needed. And since she is a mortal goddess, her body is more frail than a regular spirit creature’s. Yes. To rule the world I needed the Green Guardian of Wisdom!" "That’s Kiragi-sama, Green Goddess of Wisdom to you!" Aohiki yelled with a final breath, as she passed out in Hiei’s arms. "Kiragi-sama!" Hiei hugged Aohiki tighter, and glared at Kagakusha. "Ah ha ha…!" Kagakusha gasped for air, and stepped back like he had been punched. "Wha… heh…" He coughed up blood. "Trying to blow me up now? Yes, I know your attacks work. However! They won’t work on me! Ah ha ha ha!!!" He cackled evilly as he wiped blood from the corner of his mouth. "Try to prevent this, bastard!" Yusuke screamed as he punched Kagakusha suddenly in the face. Kagakusha fell backward and looked up at Yusuke. "Damn you!" He jumped up and glared face to face with Yusuke. "And I got plenty more, grandpa!" Yusuke spit in Kagakusha’s face as he clenched his fist and prepared to punch again. Kagakusha stood up straight. "Do you really think you can hit me again? Next time, I will be prepared for it." "Be careful Yusuke!" Botan called from the sidelines. "Heh!" Yusuke pulled back his fist and prepared to punch. "Die bastard!" He swung hard at Kagakusha. Kagakusha swiftly dodged him. "Nice try." Hiei shoved Aohiki into Mitsukai’s arms, pulled his shirt off and unsheathed his sword again. "For harming Kiragi-sama, you will die!" He darted at Kagakusha and started slashing at him. Kagakusha chuckled as he dodged. "Very good, yokai. But not good enough!" Hiei landed in a kneeling position, and a cut formed on his cheek. "Hn." "Hnn…" Aohiki opened her eyes and saw Hiei trying to hit Kagakusha again. "No! Itai…" Kagakusha smiled evilly. "Heh heh." He darted around Hiei and stopped in front of Mitsukai and Aohiki. Mitsukai glared up at him and moved Aohiki behind herself. "This is when you die!" "Rosewhip!" Kurama slashed the whip at Kagakusha. Kagakusha dodged the whip and sighed. "You guys just won‘t give up." He pulled out a hidden knife and threw it at Kurama. "What!?" Kurama just barely dodged it. Hiei darted up behind Kagakusha and raised his sword. "Die!" Kagakusha spun around and kicked Hiei in the stomach so he flew backward. "How?!" "Stop! Hnn…" Aohiki tried to stand up. "Don’t move! You’re hurt!" Mitsukai kept her from getting up. "No!" "Myuu…"Aoi-chan squeaked from beside Aohiki. Mitsukai placed a finger on Aohiki’s head and stood up over her. "Don’t make me knock you out. I will to protect you!" "You’re hurt too…" Aohiki stared helplessly up at Mitsukai. "Yeah, but bad things won’t happen to the world if I die. And I’ve sworn to protect you!" She lowered her hand slowly. "This is all wrong…" "Rosewhip!!" Kurama slashed his whip at Kagakusha again. Kagakusha simply blocked the rosewhip. "Give up!" Mitsukai turned and faced Kagakusha. She held out her hand and a pole flew into it from across the room. She glared at Kagakusha then began attacking him. Kagakusha moved around, but was barely dodging her. This one has guts. "Mitsukai-chan! NO!! Stop it!!" Aohiki tried to stand up. Hiei appeared suddenly in front of Kagakusha, and kicked him in the face. Kagakusha grabbed Hiei’s leg and swung him into the wall. Mitsukai took the opportunity to attack Kagakusha again with her pole. Kagakusha grabbed Mitsukai’s arm and twisted it behind her, so she dropped the pole. He then threw her into Kurama. Kurama caught Mitsukai and fell back into the wall. "You see! I am too strong for you!" Kagakusha started to laugh insanely. Aohiki stood up and glared at Kagakusha. "But it’s all artificial strength! You’re nothing without your genius, and I can take that away from you any time I like!" "Heh. You’re right. But then why didn’t you take my brains away from me before? Because you can’t, that’s why! Artificial power or not, you all are still no match for me! And I have you, Goddess, just where I want you." "Aohiki!" Mitsukai scrambled up and stood in front of Aohiki. "You will not harm Aohiki!" "Heh. Can you really defend her from me?" Kagakusha snapped his fingers. Mitsukai tensed up. What’s he doing…? Kagakusha continued to laugh insanely. "Now you will die!" Aohiki’s eyes widened, and she spun around. "Mitsukai!" Mitsukai spun around too. The robots had started up again and one of them grabbed Aohiki by the neck in one hand, and Mitsukai by the neck in the other. Mitsukai tried to pry open the robot’s hand. "Aohiki…" Hiei slashed down on the hand holding Aohiki, and she fell into his arms. "Aohiki!" "Rosewhip!" Kurama slashed the other hand off and caught Mitsukai as she fell. "Are you alright?" "Y-yeah…" Botan held up her hand and her paddle appeared, then it split into two baseball bats. "Here!" She handed one to Kuwabara. Kuwabara took the baseball bat. "What am I supposed to do with this?" "Hit something!" Botan yelled at him as she started smacking the robots. "Hot girls are always smart." Kuwabara smiled in a weird way. Then he started attacking the robots along side Botan. "You really think you can stop me?" Kagakusha crossed his arms as he stood next to his attacking robots. "Mwuhahahahahaha!!!" "Damnit! The robots are getting more powerful!" Hiei cursed under his breath. He was guarding Aohiki from the robots. "We need to get Aohiki-sama and Mitsukai-sama to a safe place." Kurama commented as he glared at the advancing robots, still holding Mitsukai. "And where would that be?" "I have an idea!" Kurama threw the rosewhip up into the air, holding onto one end, and it curled around a pipe near the ceiling. "Climb!" He started climbing up his rosewhip with Mitsukai over his shoulder. Hiei put Aohiki on his shoulder and started climbing the rosewhip. Convenient, Aohiki is so small. "Hey! I can take care of myself! And Aohiki!" Mitsukai yelled as her eyes stopped blurring. "We don’t need any help from yokai!" "Ha ha. You can’t even stand, can you?" Kurama asked with a small smile. "I don’t need to! I still have powers!" Kurama climbed onto the set of six pipes that, held together, width-wise was about a meter long. He set Mitsukai down on the pipes. "But I don’t want you to get hurt." "How about if you don't want the Goddess to get hurt anymore?" Hiei said venomously, as he set Aohiki down on the pipes next to Mitsukai and Kurama. "She still hasn’t stopped bleeding." Aohiki's head was gushing blood from a cut. "Aohiki…" Mitsukai held her hand over Aohiki’s unconscious head. "Stop bleeding…" The blood flow stopped, but there was still a cut. Mitsukai raised her hand and put it down on a pipe. "I’m sorry…" She looked down. "You’re right. We have to protect Aohiki-sama…" "Are you alright, Mitsukai-sama? You seem faint." Kurama asked with concern. "I’m okay…" Back on the ground, Botan was still smacking the robots. "Hey guys! Watch out!" Kagakusha stood on one of the robot’s backs. "Be quiet woman!" He had the robot smack Botan into the wall. "Botan!" Kuwabara yelled. He smacked his baseball bat at Kagakusha. Kagakusha had the robot smack Kuwabara. He flew into Yusuke, and they flew into another wall. Kagakusha looked up. "Heh heh. You can not hide!" The robot flew up towards the ceiling. "Give me the Goddess!" Hiei stood up on the pipes in front of Aohiki. "I’ll die before I let you have Aohiki!" He said poisonously to Kagakusha, who was hovering in front of the pipes. "That can be arranged." Kagakusha had his robot shoot lasers at Hiei. Mitsukai stood up and held up her hands, and the lasers bounced off a telekinetic shield. "You shall not harm Aohiki!" Yusuke stood up, back on the ground. "D-damnit!" "Heh heh. You can’t use your power against me forever. You are too weak!" Kagakusha shot more lasers at them. Mitsukai fell onto one knee, and her arms started shaking. "You… can not… have… Aohiki!" Her shield started to shrink. "I think I can! All that is stopping me is you! So I’ll be taking the goddess now, thank you!" Kagakusha laughed insanely and increased the power of his lasers. "No…" Mitsukai jumped up suddenly and cut her shield. She jumped onto the robot and kicked at Kagakusha. Kagakusha quickly dodged her and grabbed her sore arm. He then pushed her off the robot. Mitsukai fell from the ceiling. No! I used up all the telekinesis! "Mitsukai-sama!!!!!" Kurama yelled. "Grrr….!" He stood up quickly and glared at Kagakusha. "How dare you?!" Aohiki shifted in her unconscious state. "Hmm…" Mitsukai tried to hold her hands in front of her face to block the impact. Then, a green bubble formed around her. "Oro…?" The bubble floated to the ground and popped. She looked up at the pipes. "Aohiki…" She held up her hands. "You won’t be able to stop my telepathy any more!!!" She screamed up at Kagakusha. Her eyes glowed and blue electricity started to crackle around her. "Hey Yusuke! Now you can use your Reiki attacks!" Her eyes stopped glowing and she collapsed. "Mitsukai-sama!!" Kurama pulled out another rose and it turned into the rosewhip, and he cut the robot Kagakusha was on in half. Then he jumped down to Mitsukai. Kagakusha managed to jump of the robot in time. "Why you…!" Yusuke stood up and glared at Kagakusha. "Hey! Its due time you met my reiki!!! Shotta-gun!!!" He shot his shot-gun at Kagakusha. Kagakusha dodged behind his robots and they were blown up. "It doesn’t matter if you can use your reiki! I’m still stronger than you!!" He laughed insanely. Kurama kneeled down beside Mitsukai and held her in his arms. "Thank god… she’s still breathing…" He turned and glared at Kagakusha. Kagakusha smiled evilly. "That little brat must die now." "Hey!" Yusuke yelled at him. "Don’t ignore me! Rei-gun!"
"Kagakusha shall not get away with hurting Mitsukai-sama and Aohiki-sama! But, Yusuke and Kuwabara-kun can now use their reiki attacks because Mitsukai-sama sacrificed a major part of her energy; I hope she will be alright… Hiei is protecting the unconscious Aohiki-sama, and I must protect Mitsukai-sama. So it is up to Yusuke and Kuwabara-kun to stop Kagakusha! Ganbatte!" |
