Act II Scene 6 Touya paces back and forth in Jewish friar Aohikis temple, awaiting his love Keikou, so they could be married. "Holy Saint Moses, Touya!" exclaimed Friar Aohiki. "Stop pacing. You are making me so dizzy!" "Sorry," Touya apologized as he sat down on one of the benches. "I dont see why you are so anxious. I have to pray now that the almighty wont punish us for acting with such haste!" Friar Aohiki pretended to spit the words out of her mouth as to not tempt evil spirits. "Anyway, do not love too fast. As with eating, if you masticate too fast, you shall ruin your appetite." She winked. Keikou ran in at that point and ran up to Touya, panting heavily, but smiling. "I am here!" "Darn, she is hot. Forget what I said about rushing. Nice choice, boy," Friar Aohiki said as she stared at the radiant Keikou. Keikou turned bright red and curtsied. "Good evening, good Jewish friar Aohiki." She then turned and smiled at Touya. Touya pulled her ponytail out and ran his fingers through her hair. "Both Touya and I thank you, my dear," Friar Aohiki said, smiling. Keikou looked back at her. "As much to him, is his thanks too much." "Ah, Keikou," Touya said, drawing her attention back to himself. Keikou gazed at him with love. "If the quantity of your joy is heaped like mine, then let us be married." "My true love has grown to such excess that I cannot even calculate half of it," Keikou replied. Touya placed his hand under Keikous chin and tilted her face up, kissing her. "Ahem," Friar Aohiki said, interrupting the lovers. "Come with me kindala. Bing, bang, boom, you get married, and the whole deal is done. And theres cake afterwards!" |
