Act V, Scene 2 "Yo, Aohiki-chan, ohayou!" Friar Botan announced perkily as she walked into Friar Aohiki’s temple. "Botan-chan! Great, you’re back. What does Touya have to say?" Friar Botan tilted her head. "Well, apparently there’s a plague in Mantua, so they wouldn’t let me in." "Oh, hell! So he didn’t get the letter?" Aohiki exclaimed. "Gomen," Botan replied, sweatdropping. "They won’t let anyone in, so your letter will have to wait a few days." She handed the letter back to Friar Aohiki. "It’s fine, fine. I’ll have to get Keikou myself and hide her here. She’s going to yell at me about Touya then." Aohiki suddenly turned back to Botan. "I’m going to write to him again. Botan-chan, please get me a crow bar." "Hai!" Botan peeped, running off holding her giant spoon. Aohiki scurried around the cell, grabbing random papers, objects, and anti-demon charms and stuffing them into a large bag over her shoulder. "I hate going down there alone," she mumbled. |
