Act I, Scene 3 "Go get my daughter please, sexy nurse!" Lady Nekoko told her Nurse Michi. Lady Nekoko was wearing a long red dress with long black veil things hanging from her hands, along with down the sides of her dress. There were stripe-like things on her arms and down her stomach of a darker red. "Okies! I shall go get your daughter!" Nurse Michi replied, jumping up. She was wearing a dress that was of a dark red-ish purple colour that was very tight fitting, and stopped a little above her knees. As she ran off, Lady Nekoko went to playing with her dangly veils. "Meow!" "Keikou-chan! Love! Ladybird!" Nurse Michi yelled, running through the house. She stopped and looked around at one point. "God damnit, where is she? Keikou-chan!" Keikou ran around a corner suddenly and ran straight into Nurse Michi. "W-who calls?" she asked as she rubbed her head. Nurse Michi rubbed her head as well as she adjusted Keikou’s emerald green dress. "Your mother," she replied simply. "Come on." She took Keikou’s hand and led her back to Lady Nekoko’s room. Nurse Michi sweatdropped at Lady Nekoko, who was on her back on her bed, playing with her hand veils. "Mother..." Keikou sweatdropped. "What did you call me here for?" Lady Nekoko jumped up quickly. "We’re here to talk about marriage!" Keikou just sweatdropped. "Nurse Michi, how old is Keikou now?" Nurse Michi tilted her head. "Not quite fourteen." After thinking for a moment, she asked, "How long is it until her birthday?" "A few days," Lady Nekoko replied. "Ah, well, come August 1st she shall be fourteen." Nurse Michi flopped onto the bed, going into her own little world. "Tsuki and she were of the same age... Well, Tsuki has moved on, as I was not good enough for her. It’s been eleven years now since the earthquake..." She looked at Lady Nekoko. "You and my lord were in Mantua then. My, I do have a good memory!" She giggled, then went back into her world. "By that time Keikou-chan could stand by herself. In fact, she was running and waddling all around the house! And the day before, she fell and hurt her nose. And then, my dear husband Kish, merry man he was, picked up the child. ‘Do you fall upon your face?’ he asked. ‘You will fall backward when you have more wit, Keikou.’" She then started laughing. "And then, the pretty girl stopped crying and said ‘Hai!’" Staring off into her world, she laughed harder. "She was so cute! I’m sure if I were to live a thousand years, I’d still remember her pretty little face saying ‘Hai!’" Lady Nekoko and Keikou were both sweatdropping. "Anou, Nurse Michi, that’s enough talking for now," Lady Nekoko told her. "Hai, madam," Nurse Michi agreed, coming out of her dace. "Yet I cannot help but laugh at the memory of her stopping her crying and peeping ‘Hai.’ Even though her nose looked squished, when my husband spoke to her, she just quit and went ‘Hai!’" "And you should quit too, Michi," Keikou said, a little annoyed. "You talk too much." "I’m done, I’m done," Nurse Michi reassured her, smiling and getting up. She walked to Keikou and put her arms around her in a hug, with Keikou snuggling up to her. "You were the prettiest baby that I ever raised. And if I would live to see you married, I’d be happy." "Yes indeed." Lady Nekoko smiled. "Keikou, what do you think about being married?" Keikou looked down and smiled. "It is an honour I’ve never dreamed of," she replied. "An honor?" Nurse Michi repeated. "Well, it seems as though you’ve stolen wisdom from another." "Well, when I was your age, I was getting married. And the sexy Jin seeks you to be his wife!" Lady Nekoko struck a pose. "A bishi who’s very good looking," Nurse Michi agreed. "He’s perfect!" "He’s the sexiest man in Verona!" "Sexy, indeed, and he’s had practice in his sexism!" Nurse Michi twirled Keikou in a circle, then flopped back onto the bed with Keikou in her lap. "You’ll see his sexiness at the party," Lady Nekoko continued. "So what do you say? Can ya love him?" "I’ll look at him," Keikou replied. "But I won’t look any further if I don’t see anything I like." Yahiko came running into the room at that point and bowed to Lady Nekoko. "Madam, the guests are coming, dinner is ready, and everything is urgent. I ask you, follow immediately." Yahiko turned and began to walk out of the room. "Okay, I’m coming," Lady Nekoko told him, following. "Keikou, the sexy Jin awaits!" Nurse Michi stood, lifting Keikou up as well and guiding her after Lady Nekoko. "Go, dear, and get that bishi for happy times!" |
